For whatever way a church may identify itself, a gathering of Christians has to begin with Jesus Christ.  First Baptist Church of Carrollton, Kentucky, certainly begins here.  We take "local" seriously, seeing ourselves as more than incidental residents.  Indeed, we are purposeful residents called to worship Christ in this place as well as share the gospel with the neighbors of this place.  The 9am service offers a band, the 11am is a bit more traditional, maybe even blended.  Dress is anywhere from casual to work clothes to just a couple of ties/dresses are present. Child care is available at the 11am service, in addition there is Children's Church during the service for children up to 5th grade.
